One input, five outputs, and communication up to 100MB/s

From One Link to Multiple Branches

EVS0105S is an EtherCAT slave branch module with one input port and five output ports. It distributes communication to several machine areas so cable routing can follow the mechanical layout.

Published specifications include 24VDC power, communication up to 100MB/s, transmission distance up to 100m, and an operating range of -20°C to +60°C.

  • One input port and five output ports.
  • Communication up to 100MB/s.
  • Published transmission distance up to 100m.
  • Dimensions: 111mm × 77mm × 24mm.

Machine Zoning and Cabinet Topology

Large machines and multi-station lines often distribute I/O across separate areas. A branch module lets designers assign communication paths by mechanical unit and reduces wiring constraints created by a single serial route.

Typical uses include EtherCAT branching, multi-module communication expansion, cabinet port expansion, and networks extending into several machine cells.

Topology Planning

The branch module addresses physical topology. Projects should still verify master capability, slave count, cable length, power, and site EMC conditions. Product manuals and EBUS/MII ESI/XML files are available through the website.
